Labor Day weekend hiking trip to Crater Lake National Park in Oregon. Not much in lodging was available so I used the town of Klamath Falls as a base of operations.
A cold front moved in a couple of days before I arrived and temperatures dropped to freezing at night. It even snowed a little. On the plus side the frost killed most of the mosquitoes.
An excellent trip in a very beautiful area. The lake’s color is pretty surreal in terms of its intensity.
You can find some photos from the trip here.
